SCREENCRAFT COMEDY SCRIPT CONTEST
ScreenCraft is hosting their first comedy screenwriting contest. Submit your comedy script for a chance to win a cash prize and a special consultation with a manager at Mosaic Media Group. Runner-up will receive a cash prize and a phone call with a literary manager or producer.
All types of comedy scripts (romantic comedy, action comedy, dark comedy) are encouraged to participate.

BROWNFISH SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
The Brownfish Short Film Festival in New York City is accepting short film and short screenwriting submissions in the categories of Drama, Comedy, Animation, and Documentary.
Official selected short screenplays will receive a staged reading with professional actors in New York City during the festival, along with an audio copy of the reading. Awards will be given for the Best Comedy Screenplay and Best Drama Screenplay.

THE BIG BREAK CONTEST
The Big Break Contest is an annual, global screenwriting competition aimed at launching the careers of aspiring screenwriters and helping them find success in the filmmaking industry. This year, the Big Break Contest has added a Television category to their contest.

2013 EMERGING SCREENWRITERS COMPETITION
The International Screenwriters’ Association is hosting the Emerging Screenwriters Screenplay Competition. Their fourth season will feature new prizes for all finalists.
The grand prize winner will receive $12,500 cash, a scholarship, FAST Screenplay Screenwriting Process, and a one year subscription to Storylogue.

BIG VISION, EMPTY WALLET SCREENWRITING SHOWCASE AND FELLOWSHIP
Three chosen Screenwriting Fellows will be given the opportunity to connect with industry decision-makers and independent producers.
Screenwriting Fellows will be set up with six months worth of meetings and exclusive mentors with the shared goal that each script will be sold or in pre-production. Mentors will guide the Fellows in script development and marketing, creative team building, business planning, and funding.

ONE IN TEN SCREENPLAY CONTEST
Th One In Ten Screenplay Contest helps promote GLBTQ themed screenplays and is also the longest running and largest GLBTQ screenplay contest in the world.
Screenplays must contain at least one character that is GLBTQ and must portray the GLBTQ character positively.
