Dynamic K-Pop: ‘Dynamic Duo’ in DC – March 27

Dynamic K-Pop: Dynamic Duo in DC

Thursday, March 27 @ 6:00 pm at the Jack Morton Auditorium, GWU

The infectious, crowd pleasing sounds of one Korea’s most famous hip-hop groups – Dynamic Duo – are set to take over the nation’s capital with two free live performances, starting with a Dynamic K-Pop fan meeting, Q&A, and on-stage performance event on the campus of The George Washington University on March 27! Presented in cooperation with the GWU Korean Student Association.

Dynamic Duo‘s two charismatic, style-wise members, Choiza and Gaeko, will meet up with local fans on March 27 to take questions, talk about the rise of Korean popular culture worldwide and Korean hip-hop music’s place in it, and perform music from their latest album live. This program highlights the diversity of creative, popular music emerging from Korea today, beyond mainstream K-Pop.

Dynamic Duo will also perform on the Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center on Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m., presented by Nomadic Wax as part of the Kennedy Center’s “One Mic: Hip-Hop Culture Worldwide.” This event is free, and no RSVP is required.

Plus, Dynamic Duo is the featured artist for this month’s K-Star Giveaway, offering signed albums for the best fan tributes. Visit their facebook page for details!
