HAF (Hong Kong Asia Film Financing) devotes to connecting film projects with investors that brings the projects to the big screen. It is always a huge motivation to HAF whenever its projects and filmmakers receive recognitions from award ceremonies. In the coming 33th Hong Kong Film Awards, we are excited to share with you that:
- Doomsday Party, a HAF 2013 project, is nominated for Best New Performer
- PANG Yee-wah, filmmaker of this year HAF project “Dust”, produced The Grandmaster which is nominated for Best Film
- Jason KWAN, filmmaker of this year HAF project “A Nail Clipper Romance”, is nominated for Best Cinematography with As The Light Goes Out
- Touch Of The Light (originally titled The End of the Tunnel), a HAF 2009 project, is nominated for Best Film From Mainland And Taiwan

|Closing film of the 38th HKIFF – THAT DEMON WITHIN|
|Directed by Dante Lam, and starring Daniel Wu, Nick Cheung, Andy On and Liu Kai-chi, movie THAT DEMON WITHIN will have its Asian premiere on April 7 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre as the festival closing film this year. The film was also selected as part of the Berlin Film Festival’s Panorama Special section.
