Giuseppe De Angelis to Deepen Media Agency’s Creativity and Storytelling Craft
NEW YORK, Feb. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — MediaCom USA announced today that award-winning film creator and editor Giuseppe De Angelis is joining the agency as Director of Visual Experience, a new position.
The hire is the latest evidence of MediaCom’s commitment to driving client success by designing and delivering experiences that make people see brands differently.

De Angelis, who formerly ran his own company Purple Reel Productions, brings content creation expertise across all types of film and video production, including feature films, short films, documentaries, cartoons, television programs and commercials. His professional credits include work for clients such as Sony, MTV, Sky Italia and the RAI Group. He has also produced, directed and edited the internationally acclaimed short films Enemy Closer and Midday Room, in addition to the feature documentary film “Crocodile in the Yangtze,” winner at the United Film Festival in San Francisco.
Known for his storytelling skills and engaging visual style, De Angelis moved to New York from Italy in 2009 to work as a producer and editor on documentaries, commercials and feature films for clients including UNDP, UNFPA, MPG and Young Love Productions. He has also been a film editing instructor at the New York Film Academy in New York, Rome, Florence and Abu Dhabi.
