Caution to under-aged viewers: The series “Baka to Boing” contain themes or scenes that may not be suitable for very young readers

The story of this Manga goes like this:
Taichi Yamada is what you would call a fan but he is not just any fan, he is a fan of Kokoro Shiina, a gravure model. Maybe it was fate that brought them together that day but Taichi met Kokoro when she literally fell from the sky. Waking up in the hospital, he begins to see Kokoro’s spirit and after roaming the hospital premises a “shinigami” arrives to take Kokoro to the underworld.
That plot might not sound like much, but Baka to Boing is a hidden gem to me. It’s actually pretty good for what it is, and I even got to like the romance. The art is fantastic as Hiyoko Kobayashi is a wonderful artist though the “ecchi” tag is not to be taken lightly. Oh no. Not in the least.
The characters of Taichi Yamada and Kokoro Shiina do manage to bring smiles to my face in all honesty as the chemistry is rather charming. The side characters are people I end up caring for, and wanting to see more of as the story progresses. I can be a very tough critic honestly especially with my manga. Is this a fantastic story? Oh NOOOOO! But it is one that you could end up enjoying.
This manga did actually make me laugh quite a few times and I look forward to it continuing in all honesty. If you see a chance to read it, I would…but don’t expect anything grand out of it.
